What makes relationships work well, versus fall apart? I have been fascinated with relationships for many years. I work with couples going through a variety of challenges. It can be very powerful to have a neutral third party in the room, helping each of you understand yourselves and your partner better. I help facilitate the process of couples improving skills at talking with each other about issues.

I am a Certified Gottman Therapist, and utilize Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a way of counseling with couples that was developed by world-renowned marriage researcher John Gottman and therapist Julie Schwartz Gottman. I have also completed a specialized Gottman training on treating affairs and trauma. For more information about the Gottman philosophy, see: www.gottman.com.

Attend a fantastic Gottman workshop for couples! “The Art and Science of Love” two-day workshop is held in various locations around the country, taught by John Gottman and Julie Schwartz Gottman, or by certified Gottman therapists.

I have experience working with families at various stages throughout the lifespan, including families experiencing stresses related to parenting children, adolescents, and young adults, and stresses stemming from psychiatric issues. (I have worked at a psychiatric hospital since 2003).
